Direct Fired Heaters
Direct Fired Heaters are frequently used in a construction application because there are openings throughout the site allowing fresh air to ventilate the work area. They burn clean, efficiently and come in a range of sizes and portability from 100,000 Btu’s to 1.5 million Btu’s. Available in Propane or Natural Gas
Indirect Fired Heaters
Indirect Fired Heaters have a closed combustion chamber. They can be vented to the outside or stand safely outside the building, sending heat through ducts to the required area to achieve an ambient temperature. They offer safe and clean heat without combustible bi-products. Available in Diesel, Propane or Natural Gas.
Pressurization Heaters
Pressurization Heaters are known as one of the safest and most efficient indirect fired heaters in the industry. This heater is capable of heating a high-rise from the basement or 1st floor up to the slab being poured. When these units are placed on site in early October, they will effectively pressurize the building over a seven day period with an ambient temperature for improved production.
Radiant Heaters
Radiant heaters have an infra-red radiant heat that is emitted by a large reflector to warm people and objects rather than atmosphere. These heaters are usually ideal for smaller more confined areas such as House building and trailers.
Convection Heaters
Convection heaters feature a unique top design for superior heat distribution in a 360 degree heating radius and do not require electricity. Cold air is heavier so it continually sinks to the ground while hot air is lighter and rises upward. This continued recirculating will heat a room effectively. Available in Natural Gas and Propane.
Electric Heaters
Electric heaters come in a range of sizes from 4800 watts 240 single phase to 40 Kw 3 phase. They are primarily used when no combustible fuels are allowed but also are used to dry the moisture in the atmosphere from propane or natural gas heaters. This improves drywall curing and finishing.
Air Movers
Air movers are an important factor when it comes to heating a large building. They are ideal in situations where a specific area is difficult for the heater to reach such as corners and the end of a long corridor.
Propane (Bulk, Pig Tank & Cylinders)
Rapid Equipment supplies 100 lb. cylinders, 420 lb. Pig Tanks and Bulk Farms where required. We have a variety of cylinder cages in 6 or 8 bottle cages for crane lifting. We keep your site running through the harshest of winters by supplying foam curing blankets, bubble tarps, tarps and snow fence with metal stakes.
